This flute was crafted by me from purple heart which is a hard wood and native to the Americas. The totem is also purple heart and is secured by three thongs and decorated with purple crow beads and brass spacer beads. The flute has a rich clear tone and is easy to play and handle.

Hi Phil,
Just to let you know I received my purple heart in the key of F today and I think it sounds beautiful,very mellow,clear,and I found it very easy to play,very forgiving.I have flutes from well known US flute makers and as you will know every flute has its own voice,even flutes of the same key.
I LOVE IT.
